This unit implements a training policy by ensuring that the staff gets the requisite training to facilitate improved employee service delivery. Other responsibilities of the unit include: development of strategic training plan; development of training curriculum; design and develop appropriate courses for staff in the Agency and MDAs; implement and evaluate training program; partner with private and public industries and related organization to build and enhance capabilities in ICT skills; organize training workshops when and where necessary, to help enhance automation and ease of process flow.

Also, the Agency has a secured partnership with the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) to be a JAMB Authorized Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre. The unit facilitates, organizes and manages CBT exams for the State Civil Service through the workings of the Civil Service Commission.
